Bullying and undermining can impact healthcare professionals’ physical and emotional wellbeing and remain an issue within the NHS and the healthcare sector.
The 2021 NHS Staff Survey for England reported that almost 19% of NHS staff experienced at least one incident of harassment, bullying or abuse from their colleagues and around 12% from their manager in the last year.
