HCSA urges members to answer Gender Pay Gap call

HCSA has today urged members chosen to take part in an anonymous survey launched by researchers as part of the Gender Pay Gap in Medicine Review.

Candidates have been selected at random as part of the process, and should have received an email in the past fortnight inviting them to take part.

The link expires after four weeks.

HCSA is one of the stakeholders taking part in the government's Gender Pay Gap Review, which is led by Professor Dame Jane Dacre. It aims to analyse, understand and make recommendations to close gaps between the pay of male and female medical staff.

If you or your colleagues are asked to complete the survey, please encourage them to take part in this important and valuable research.

The evidence gathered will go on to produce a series of implementable recommendations that help close the gender pay gap in medicine.
