Pre-registration opens for Ambassador training

Are you keen to play a more active role advocating for the profession while learning valuable skills?

Dozens of members have already taken their first steps on HCSA’s new activist pathway, and pre-registration is now open for the next Ambassador training sessions later this year.

HCSA President Dr Naru Narayanan and national Council members endorsed the programme by becoming Ambassadors at a HCSA Council strategy event in April.

All HCSA members are encouraged to get involved in the short 90-minute remote training programme and become a HCSA Ambassador for their Trust/board or workplace.

The step-by-step training programme is designed to increase member support for our national campaigns and local recruitment activity and make a big difference to the impact of the union and its work.

Ambassadors do not require any previous trade union experience and will be trained to use social media to support our national campaigns, create local HCSA promotional opportunities and become the point of contact for the members in their trust.

On completion of the module, members will become a certified Ambassador and join HCSA’s growing network of activists.

Interested? Pre-register now to hear about forthcoming training sessions. The next Ambassadors training is planned for Summer 2022.
