Consultant and SAS members of HCSA - the hospital doctors’ union have voted 77% in favour of strike action should ongoing talks with the Department of Health and Social Care fail to yield results.

HCSA is currently engaged in negotiations to resolve the consultant pay dispute alongside DHSC and the British Medical Association.
