About this role

HCSA - the hospital doctors’ union has an exciting opportunity for a digital communications and campaigns professional looking to apply their skills to support our campaigns, communications and organising activity. 

This is a hands-on role which will require a flexible approach, the ability to work rapidly, and strong prioritisation and communications skills. 

Leading work on broadening and improving our social media output as HCSA rolls out its new organising strategy, the ECCO will be responsible for creating engaging content and collaborating on digital campaigns across a range of mediums and platforms. 

The successful candidate will be confident developing new networks and communications flows to ensure our national priorities and organising objectives are reflected at regional and local level. 

They shall also lead on supporting the delivery of regular webinars, be able to write powerful email and other copy, and use their digital skills to engage current and attract future members. 

There will also be some traditional communications work, including supporting the PCCT in fielding media requests and identifying high-quality content for our channels. 

The ECCO will be expected to contribute and apply their existing knowledge as part of a small team working collectively to deliver a wide range of projects.

This full-time, permanent post attracts 30 days holiday plus bank holidays and in addition to the stated salary receives a 10 percent employer contribution towards a defined contribution pensions scheme.
