Burnout: What is it and what can we do about it?

Tuesday 29 November 2022

About this webinar

In 2021, 34% of NHS staff often or always felt burnt out because of their work.

Even more found work emotionally exhausting. And almost half were often or always worn out at the end of their shift.

Join us on Tuesday 29th November as we tackle the reality of burnout: what causes it and how to combat it.

Occupational psychologist Dr Caroline Elton has over 20 years' experience of working with doctors. In her book, Also Human: The Inner Lives of Doctors, Dr Elton shone a light on how medical systems too often fail clinicians as human beings.

Dr Elton will explore what drives burnout, pushing past 'resilience' rhetoric to take a look at the systemic problem.

We'll tackle best practices at organisational level for reducing burnout, and what we ourselves can do.

Please note that registration will close at 12pm on Tuesday 29th November.

This webinar is open to all healthcare professionals.
